TV Withdrawal

There is like NOTHING on TV these days....NOTHING! So I have been forced to watch shows that I've never really watched before. One good thing is I've discovered that I really like Boston Legal. Yes, it has weirdo William Shatner (did anyone see last year's Emmy Awards where one of the entertainment segments was of him emphatically narrating the words from the Star Trek series while some lady hummed the theme song? "....THESE are THE days of the starship ENTERPRISE..." + "...doooooooo doooooooooooo dododo..." Man, that was freaking funny..)
Anyway, him and James Spader are hilarious. It reminds me of Ally McBeal when it was good and before it got stupid crazy. I'm so going to pick up this show.
On the other hand, I suffered through 4 hours of Lives of the Saints with Sophia Loren. You know, I've always wondered how awards for good acting are given out. Many times I can't tell whether the acting was average, good or great unless it was a role designed to showcase acting talent. HOWEVER, after watching this miniseries, all I have to say is now I know what BAD ACTING is. Everyone else deserves Oscars and Emmys. PLEASE bring me back my Grey's Anatomy quick!

Another day at the office..

Another day at work which means another day of almost falling alseep at my desk and face planting on my keyboard. I can barely keep my eyes open...I'll just pretend that my half-closed eyes are like sexy bedroom eyes even though they probably make me look like a walking zombie. Hmmm, I should really take a 2 hour lunch and go wandering around the malls except the malls are crazy busy and the idea of elbowing my away around isn't my idea of fun. BUT there is a top at Club Monaco that I want....teehee..

Ho ho hum...

The office is dead and I am here bored out of my mind. Yes, I have work to do but no motivation to do it. So I sit here and blog and am getting paid to blog...tee hee ;)

So my bad shopping habits continue. I actually finished my Christmas shopping early and was so happy that I had to go blow some cash on myself. I mean, I gotta buy myself some presents, ya hear me? Now, all I have to say is somene better be there to catch me when I open up my Visa bill.

Ok, time to go pretend to work for a bit..be back later...

The Holiday Office Party

You know how every Holiday Office Party Guide says more or less "Don't get wasted."
Ok, so I pretty much broke that rule within the first hour of my office party. How was I to know that dinner wouldn't be served til 930? Was it my fault that it was open bar and the attentive waiters kept refilling all the wine glasses? So I spent the whole night being a loudass drunk (yes, apparently I am loud and I talk too much when I'm inebriated) and flirting with the waiter (which I think is another rule, i.e., "Don't flirt.") I am such an idiot...
