Christina and Menage a Trois'
Yes, I had my doubts and they were doubly enforced when 2 hours prior to the show, we wandered around looking for some chow amidstWe got there just in time for the Pussycat Dolls. They looked as I expected, hot and sparkly. Nicole sings pretty well and she looked great. They were quite personable and fun. Overall I enjoyed seeing them.
Then Christina came on..and whoa is she a powerhouse! Her voice is so awesome and she makes it seem so effortless. Her costumes and sets were also fantastic. I was definitely glad I went.
Oh and here's my excitement for the night...Beside us were 2 young asian chicks rocking their asses off..dancing, singing, hollering...THEN near the end of the concert, they grabbed my arm and said 'Hey party with us!" I was like 'WHAT?" Then right after I jokingly told Meaux that I ain't going in the middle, they grabbed me again and said "next song we grind." Huh? whuh? grind???!!!
Hahaha..they were awesome! Props to them for living it up. I told them to look for me at the Gwen concert! Row 8 floor should any of you guys be there. Can't wait. Til then here are some Christina pics. I didn't take any good PCD ones because we got there right as they started.
Going to Christina Aguilera

Muhahaha..my secret strategy worked. I have secured Row 15 floor seats for tonight's Christina Aguilera and Pussycat Dolls concert. I can't wait to party with all the 16 year old's tonight..woohoo! Now I just have to figure how to rush home quickly after work to 'hoochify' (my friend's term, not mine) myself and make it back down by 6pm so we can get meter parking near Georgia.

Starter for 10

Tonight I watched the movie Starter for 10 which stars James McAvoy from The Last King of Scotland. I got some free passes and it had some decent reviews so I was pretty psyched. Got there about 30 mins before showtime and there was already a pretty long lineup. It sure was an eclectic crowd but hey, who wouldn't want to see a free movie?
Anyway the movie was ok. It had its moments though I felt it was lacking something..though not sure what..maybe some sort of spark. It did remind me of the old 80's John Hughes' movies which was kind of nice. It is funny to see that everything they were wearing in the movie is totally in now and the old 80s tunes were fun. So overall it was a decent movie but it will only slightly chick flick urgencies. I'm still waiting for the next ultimate chick flick. Last one I loved was Pride and Prejudice.

Ho...Fashion
Ok laugh my ass off. According to Tyra on Top Model..fashion is all about Ho, but making it Fashion..hahaha..man, sometimes she cracks me up. Oh and whoa..is she totally channelling Dior Fall 2006 with that bandana and long hair.I am a TV addict
Did anyone hear Antonella sing last night (if you can call that singing). She is so bad..how the heck did she not get kicked off last week? The Idol people are probably thinking the same thing, did you notice how her end segment was extra long and it totally showcased how off key she was? Hahaha! If she doesn't get kicked off tomorrow and she actually makes it to the top 12, I swear I will stop watching that show. But wow, there are some great singers on that show. All of them are girls of course.Watching Lost now. It looks promising..so far so good.

Man I hate Mondays
..especially grey rainy blah Mondays like today. I had to wait 20 mins at the stupid bus stop in the crappy weather because the first bus passed me by because it was too full. Then I almost slipped and killed myself twice. Then some stupid lady tried to make conversation with me on the bus because I think she liked my watch and tried to ask me in her broken english, "where buy watch?" and I was like 'huh?' And me being super cranky because of of all the above looked at her like she was insane and walked away. "Watch store, bitch!"..where else.Yes, stay away from me.

I stopped for all of 5 minutes

In my last post I said I needed to stop buying shoes. Well I'm glad to say I haven't bought any shoes within the last 5 minutes, however, it doesn't mean I can't think about buying them and damn, I am just dying for these shoes. Gotta save!
off and on and off and on..
In December, I thought I 'saw the light' and realized that I can't be spending all my money on such frivolities as clothes and stuff even though fashion is my biggest passion. So I put together my 'budget' and pretended like I have major bills and socked away the cash and gave myself a measly puny disposable income to play with. Gee, I wonder how long that would last. One whole entire month.
Yes, my willpower is THAT strong.
Well, I decided I still need to budget, but I decided to relax it a teeny bit to allow myself some more indulgence.
Speaking of indulgences, I realized that I never stopped buying shoes. Since January, I've bought 5 pairs of shoes. I'm thinking I'm a little insane. When will I get to wear all these shoes?
I need to stop.
