SuperStore Self Checkout is Stupid
ok, so T & I were at Superstore picking up some groceries and we thought we'd try out the new self checkout stations. They did seem kind of cool. You can even check out vegetables and fruit as long as you have the code for them. Anyway so there were 7 functional stations and 3 employees helping out. It was so freaking slow it was ridiculous. T's station kept on telling her to take stuff out of her grocery bag...which was kind of freaky because how the hell does it know she was bagging stuff??? Mine would not take my debit card..everytime I swiped it would go back to the 'Select Payment Type' screen. AND after trying 2-3 times in a row..it would pause and a clerk will have to reset the machine from their main computer. I must have swiped my card like 10 times. Warning for you all...just LINE UP at the regular stations!
Chick Flick Alert
I just saw the new adaptation of Jane Austen's
Pride and Prejudice and OMFG it is sooooooo good. The film was absolutely gorgeous and ultra romantic. I think I have to see it again and then buy the DVD when it's out and then watch it again..and then again..
P.S. Do not watch any trailers because I just watched the trailer for the first time right now and I think it shows too much of the movie. This may spoil it for you.

Shopping is my High
My no-shopping phase lasted for about all of one stinking month. I suck.
I held as on as hard as I could. Why even my purchase last Wednesday (a pair of suede and leather boots) still fell under the 'Accessories Only' edict, but officially as of Saturday, November 5th, I bought ~gasp~ two shirts from the Chulo Pony sample sale. And as if that wasn't enough, I went and bought two more shirts from Club Monaco today. I thought I was safe! I never find stuff at Club!!! And I was with Stuee, the Shopping Cop (as Mama Tofu calls her)! I should've known better...I am so weak.
T-Unit...I blame it all on YOU! That supposed innocent night of 'exercising'
at the mall.
But shopping just gives me such a high..and it's so bloody addictive. Members of the shopping club..you all hear me..I know you all understand.

Brioche in Gastown
Ok, I'm officially in love with their Cajun Chicken Spinach Salad. Hmmmmmm, love it love it love it!. If you're ever in Gastown, you have to visit this place. It's always packed during lunch and their pastas and salads looks awesome. Check out the pastries too. Currently, they have these chocoloate mousse balls shaped like a snowman. Tres cute!.

I Ain't Yo Sugar Momma
Ok, something extremely weird happened to me tonight. I had just got off the bus and was walking home. If you know where I live, you'd know that there is like a mini-chinatown near my house and parking/driving near there is always a bitch. Anyhow so there was some car that kept honking and honking, so I kept turning my head and looking at what was going on as I was strolling by. I was so pre-occupied that I didn't see some punk walk by me. Anyway, so my head kept turning and all of a sudden I heard some odd noise. I turned further and saw that punk looking back at me and making
kissing noises ...huh? I swear to god, I hope he didn't think I was checking him out when I kept looking back..
Ok so I keep on walking. On the next block I walk by another punk (not associated to the first) and as he passed he said to me 'Hey Mama..'
There was another time I was in a car stuck at a red (in my 'hood) and, I swear to god, some guy on the street was actually blowing kisses my way...
I am not joking...
And don't even let me get started on the 2 guys that live down the block that have harrassed me twice already that I walk an extra block so I don't have to pass their house..
